How to Play Scrap Metal 2
Drive with WASD or the arrow keys, handbrake with Space, change camera with C. Explore the open lot, drift, jump ramps, smash crates and wreck the drivable cars — damage is persistent, so every dent stays earned.
Scrap Metal 2 is a physics sandbox for people who like cars best when they are being mistreated. You get an open yard full of ramps, loops, crushable props and parked vehicles, plus a garage of muscle cars and trucks with real-feeling weight, suspension and damage. There is no race to win — the game is the engine itself: pulling long drifts, landing jumps on two wheels, and watching panels crumple exactly where they hit.
The damage model is the star. Bodywork bends, doors shear off, and a car driven badly enough becomes genuinely undrivable, which turns self-restraint into the only real difficulty setting. It is the kind of game where ten minutes disappears into "one more jump."
For wreckage with rules, try Demolition Derby or School Bus Demolition Derby; for cleaner laps, the rest of our racing games awaits.
